Today’s Storyline
The Washington Capitals are off Monday and will hold a morning skate at PNC Arena in Carolina at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin scored a power-play goal last night to extend his point streak to eight games (8g-4a). It was his 18th goal of the season, ranking him tied for fifth in the league in goals. The goal was Ovechkin’s 12th power-play goal this season, the most in the NHL.
