Capitals left wing Jason Chimera is scheduled to play in his 300th Capitals game on Friday against New Jersey. The Edmonton native has registered 119 points (49g, 70a) and 261 penalty minutes in 299 career games with Washington. Chimera ranks tied for fifth among Washington skaters in goals (9) this season, tied for sixth in assists (14) and seventh on the team in points (23). The 6’3”, 216-pound left wing has recorded 291 points (130g, 161a) and 726 penalty minutes in 760 career NHL games with Edmonton, Columbus and Washington.
