Today’s Storyline
The Washington Capitals begin the 2012-13 season tomorrow on the road in Tampa Bay against the Lightning at 7 p.m. Early this week the Capitals announced that all 48 of their regular-season games would be televised this season, with Comcast SportsNet set to televise 41 games and seven exclusive appearances on NBC and NBC Sports Network.

Capitals Central and Capitals Postgame Live, will return this season to provide extended news, analysis and interviews surrounding games on Comcast SportsNet.

Today’s Storyline: The Washington Capitals will practice today at 10 a.m. at Kettler Capitals Iceplex and will host the Caps Fan Appreciation Special Event at Verizon Center from 6-9 p.m. tonight. Fans are invited to come celebrate the season with an open Capitals practice that includes complimentary hot dogs, fountain soda, popcorn, pretzels, nachos and ice cream that will be provided for all guests in attendance. The Capitals will host an open practice at 7 p.m. at Verizon Center.
