Today's Storyline
The Washington Capitals wrap up their three-game road trip tonight with a nationally televised contest against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

The Capitals are 11-5-2 in their last 18 regular-season games against the Rangers and have gone 5-2-1 in their last eight games at Madison Square Garden. John Carlson led all Capitals players in points against the Rangers last season, posting three goals and three assists in four games against New York.
